Stuff Lately

So here's the low down... we started the ReAL season and it has been great so far. 

We watched Tatum over the weekend for three nights and now I am terrified to have children. She had an ear infection, cough, runny nose, teething.  You don't sleep much... and we even found poop on our floor that must have fallen out of the diaper hahaha... yowza!

Also, draw something has become a new hilarious game that tony and I love to play even when we are sitting next to each other.

And from now on I will be working 4x10s to babysit this beauty on Wednesday  as well as Kiron.

Gracie Girl and Twinsies

This weekend Portia's little girl Gracie turned 2!! Holy cow!  That's how old we were when we met!  She is seriously a funny little gal.  She got an awesome convertible for her present and please watch the video if you love a good fake/courtesy laugh by a 2 yr old.  They have the car on a remote control setting so that Andy can drive it while Gracie just rides.... too funny.

Then Kelsey and I went to the Alta Dance Company concert to relive our glory days... yes, that's the highest performance we have reached.  We ate cadbury eggs and cried in the back row... no, we didn't really cry but we did eat cadbury eggs. We had to laugh when she walked in to pick me up with same hairdo, lips, boots, and a same colored shirt.  We must be friends.

6 Months!!!

Holla! We made it six months! ... not that I ever doubted we would... just fyi.  I love you Tony and your silly sense of humor which so perfectly matches mine.  I love watching ellen degeneres hidden camera prank videos in bed when we are falling asleep.  I love eating dinner together and blessing it like a real grown up family.  I love watching our shows together.  I love running up the stairs because I know you'll start chasing me.  I hate when you put cold water bottles on my bare skin but I still love you.  I love watching you play soccer and scoring goals like yesterday. Huzzah for the win! I love trying to convince you to have babies now every day.  I love that you said we could go to Disneyland.  I love that I can't fall asleep without you next to me. I love love love your silly dances. I love your new SNL laugh. I love talking like David Beckham and his no fumbs. I love finding post-its. I love when you scrape my car off when you have to leave first. I love watching NBA games. I love going to ReAL games.. can't wait for the first married one!  I love ST. I love holding hands/arms while we pray at night. I LOVE that smile. Pretty much I love everything about you.  YDB!

Clover, Josh and Mel had a bday!

We had lots of birthday parties this weekend.  First was Clover who turned the big 1!  Combined with Josh who turned the big 33. She seriously is so cute and such a good baby.  We have massive amounts of photos on our camera but I just have a couple for now from the cellular.

Yesterday was Mel's bday and we had a family dinner with some presents.  Mel earned herself a shopping spree from the kids and she did her famous "rumpshaker contest winner pose" from the last time she had a handful of cash..  We enjoyed lots of inappropriate jokes and laughed til it hurt.

I have frozen jelly on my head as tony and I were wrestling and I smacked my head against the wall with a lot of force.  Did I have tears on my face as we opened presents?  .....maybe. Besides that it was an excellent evening.

We also babysat during church for Tatum and Clover.  Let me tell you.... church during nap time with two babies can be difficult.  Tony had clover asleep just after the sacrament went around... Tatum had other plans.  Either way that was the fastest church has gone by for me. I just got a kick out of people thinking that all the sudden we had two kids when they'd never seen us with any before.... needless to say we needed a nap after church.

and I have this creepy gerbil calendar... there was one really funny pic and I couldn't find anything else so I got it.... then after i opened it I realized I just looked like a weirdo so every month if it's not funny I add something to it.... this month they got turned into sherlock holmes and watson. I think it looks like it was printed that way if I do say so myself.  Here is the before and after. Dinner for schmucks... apparently.

This weekend was a fairly good one.  Nothing too crazy but some good times. Friday we watched the celebrity all star game and then..... I can't remember. Saturday we were all sorts of crazy that morning and we ran to my mom's to drop off and pick up some stuff then ran to Rio Tinto to pick up our season tickets!!!! They gave us matching season ticket holder scarves... fancy!  But they smell super weird.  Then we were able to go to our family friend Kirk's father's funeral.  What a nice service.  What a nice man.  I didn't really know him very well at all but they had me tearin up.  And we got to see this beautiful baby and his baby blues.

Emily and Jason gave us a ring and invited us out for dinner at Texas Roadhouse and some dessert.  WE LOVE THESE GUYS!  Lots of laughs!  Jason and Tony have only met twice and for some reason they just can be silly and I love it. Emily is sporting a baby bump and is due June 12... hoping for June 15! That's my birthday if you're lost.  Don't forget it.

OH yeah... I remembered.  Friday we went to Tony's cousin's wedding.  Very sweet couple.

And then Saturday we got home and watched the skills challenge, dunk contest etc til the wee hours of the morning.  I was pretty proud of myself for staying up late. Sunday we went to church with my mom and she was trying to trick us to stay as long as she could get us and it was pretty hilarious.... "I'll make you breakfast" then after breakfast "josh and clover will be here in an hour" I told her we will probably just head home "do you guys want some chocolate chip cookies?"  haha she is the best. 

Last night we watched the All Star game... congrats to the west for winning and shout out to Jazz man Jeremy Evans for winning the dunk contest!  Then we had the messam childs come over for some dennis the menace and homemade popcorn... always a treat! We are blessed to have fun people in our lives.

Catching up

Lately we haven't been doing much.  I have been under the weather this week with the sniffles.. gross.  Last Sunday we gave a talk in our new ward.  We were the only two speakers so we both had ... 20 minutes? each.  I took about 12 and Tony was a rockstar taking up the rest of the time. I had one fan in the front who laughed at ALL of my jokes.  God bless her.  I think Tony should do public speaking professionally.  We had tony's family (+ Dom) come over for some good old fashioned support with my mom and then we had dinner after church.  I made it and they ate it... what a good group of people.

Monday it was so nice to sleep in and not go to work... unfortunately Tony still had to.  I went to lunch with Portia and we went to a couple of shopping spots.  We were laughing because I found these ridiculously large shoes (vertically large) and me being a semi-giant already put them on and portia was so short... when she put them on we were the same height.

Wednesday Tatum and Amanda came to visit me at lunch!  Tatum is so cute and I love watching her walk in her new shoes... she kills me. 

And a highlight of this week... Tuesday tony had a ridiculously late soccer game and I was feeling like a sick kid so I stayed home and when I woke up the next morning I found this post-it on my phone.  What a funny boy when he said "sorry I don't have better handwriting"... I love him.

Vday APp

On valentines day after work tony had told me he needed to prepare my gift for a minute... an hour later he comes down and says it's not really working and he has to wait for it to load.  I'm thinking he is loading a you tube song and he's going to do like a little performance! That would have been great.  Well one hour after that he finally brings me my phone with a new app on it... one that he made himself!  Why is he so smart?!  Here is a little looksey of what it was....

So if you will be at a ReAL game this season come look us up because we will be at every single one!! 

I wanted to get Tony a treat and I went with my friend LIndsey to a yummy chocolate place downtown only to find "fancy" chocolates.  Tony doesn't usually care for fancy food.  I wanted to eat one of everything there so I got him a chocolate caramel apple and I bought myself these so that I wouldn't ask for a bite!

OMG they were GOOD!  And I ate them...ALL.  It was rough to decide which one to save for last.
