Mini Man Messam

So we weren't supposed to find out the gender of the baby for a few more weeks.  We could have gone to fetal photo a few weeks ago but they are just too darn expensive and magically I was ok with waiting... until the nurse said the Dr could probably tell you the sex today.  I was sold.  I didn't really give Tony a choice on if he wanted to wait. So the Dr came in and the umbilical cord was in between the legs and so we had a few moments of suspense while he tried to move him around... yes.. HIM.  It's a little Man Messam.
Mama was right.  I knew it was a boy from the night before I took the test.  Granted there is only a 50/50 chance of being right/wrong.  So excited to meet this guy.  We are thinking William for the name.
We also had Tony's birthday last week.  The big 27!  I thought I was being so so sneaky by setting my alarm at 5:30 to get up and leave a little birthday surprise before he got up for work.  To my dismay he woke up to use the potty at 5:25.  So I waited until 5:55 and held my hand in front of his face to see if he was asleep.  He didn't notice so I thought he was sleeping... apparently he was not.  I turned on the shower and quickly tried to decorate silently before getting in.  He heard the whole thing.  What a good sport not to peek!
High class decorating
I pre-ordered Halo 4 and got him some favorite treats to take to work and this fart machine with a remote since his Pooter fart one broke.  That sounds really inappropriate.  I didn't name it... but alas the fart machine is haunted and kept going off when no one was touching it and so we had to take out the batteries and it didn't even sound real anyways.
After work we went to get some sushi!  We love sushi!  Don't worry I only ate a tempura one that the Dr approved.  And I very sneakily made the cake below the night before while Tony was at school.  I put it in the lower oven to cool off but I knew he could smell it when he walked in.  He told me later he tried to find it but couldn't.
The next day we celebrated with family and Pat and Mel took us all to Golden Corral followed by some eating of cake.

me crying zombie tears
Feel so lucky to have this silly guy all to myself.  We have lots of fun together. Can't wait to grow our family in April!

Really excited for thanksgiving since I have maternity pants aka turkey eatin pants

Halloweenies

We had a fun Halloween with all our favorite kiddos.  Amanda, my mom and I took Clover and Tatum to Gardner Village for lunch and a quick view of the witches as nap time came too soon.  We got a lot of good exercise chasing those ones around!

We made a quick stop at Tony's work and then headed to Danielle and Shane's for a delicious dinner and some trick or treating followed by the jazz game... and some yummy treats the kids didn't notice were gone.
We decided to be Mario and Luigi and I thought a men's costume would be long enough... don't mind the  wedgies.
Baby Kelton never woke up the whole time we ate dinner at Danielle's  but we sure love just looking at him .

This picture kills me of Tatum trying to tell Afton something really important.

After the prego people couldn't walk any further we came back with Mack and watched him throw the ball with Bumpa for a long time and laughed so hard.  That boy has got a good arm and will even look somewhere else and still throw it right to you.

He got Bumpa in the face a few times.
Love Halloween and now I can't wait for Thanksgiving!  Hope you had a fabulous holiday!

4 weeks til we find out the gender of Mini Messam!
