Rootey Tootey Fresh and Fruity!

This weekend was the epic Root Reunion.  I have always loved this time of year since I can remember.  If you love Paula- which I think you do- then imagine the fun of Paula x 52!  That's right- I have 52 first cousins (marriages included) and we are about 120+ with great grandkids, aunts/uncles etc (from bob and ruby down) and it is a straight up party when we get together.  This year was actually pretty relaxed and in the beautiful Olsen cabin in Midway.  Besides the hellish mosquito bites it was a great time... also Tony's first time.

The pinata (guess who finally broke it open..)

Whitney Afton and Dallin

Bailey, Danielle, Jon, Sally, Lana, Jess

Janna, Shane, Whit, Afton, Mae Mae, Tommy, Kenzie, Ragean, and the gorgeous Shannon Holley
We also had the epic Root Reunion Talent Show... some of you may remember this performance.
The video was not as great because the music volume was low etc but I had some more help onstage.

My dad looked great but changed before we got a photo.  These guys are great.  The weekend was a lot of fun and went by too fast as usual!  Can't wait til next year when Tony and I don't have to sleep separately!

This crazy thing called... love?

I just want to tell Tony how much I love him.  I just love him!  He's so great and makes me laugh and gives good hugs.  He's patient aka the exact opposite of me aka he completes me.  (Yes, I know that's the incorrect usage of aka but that's how I like to use it......) I love this guy more and more everyday and can't wait to be roomies/hommies.
tony guess what.... I love ya!  You lucky man, you ;)
but seriously, I do.

Convention Time!

So in the last two weeks I was able to have one of my showers and it was so great!  Thanks Katie and everyone who helped!
Then last week I worked all day everyday (huzzah for 15 hours of overtime) at our convention.  Just touchin' lives.  We had our favorite job yet- I was in charge of the new VIP room and it turned out great after much stress and planning.  It was fun to meet some funny ladies and get to snack on treats all day.  Life is hard.

At the end of every day they threw away all the donuts and cookies etc so we took the liberty of saving the environment and taking them home... without a box ...so we improvised with napkins and masking tape.  We looked straight sketch.
And last but not least we played on our breaks with zombie booth, old booth? as Cory called it, and Danielle then took those and played with fatbooth.... enjoy....
Justin Bieber and Jan Brady's offspring

I am totally pooped and loved having Harry Potter marathon with Tony... even though I slept through it all.  We got to go see the new one and that was fun with Katie and Trevor.  Sad/relieved that it is over.  Now I just need to magically come up with a days worth of pto so I can sleep for a second.

4th of july weekend

We had a great weekend as always down in Fairview- We went down Friday after work and we were so lucky to not get stuck in traffic!  We had lots of fun with Afton who just loved to do makeovers... and bless everyone's heart for being good sports about it.  You ended up with a mass amount of makeup and might I add some really beautiful colors.  See Diva below....
Then we were able to go swimming for the first time this summer!  I missed a spot on my foot and thank heavens for aloe vera.. but other than that it was a fun day in the sun.... see below

We also got to ride the four-wheelers up in the mountain with Josh and Cheyenna.  Tony has never really driven one on a ride and he was a pro.  So beautiful up in the canyon minus the allergies.  It was a weekend full of hardcore allergies, but still great.

Yesterday we went to the annual breakfast at the park and then to the parade where I got a nice nap in with a sunburn.
My cousin Shane's little boy Trevor loved to have a wand? duel with Tony.  Paula fed him a handful of M&Ms which he did not want to chew and colorful drool just came out of his mouth nonstop as my mom sat there with a wipe ready for the next drip.

Homestretch before baby comes!

We had awesome food thanks to Shane, Terry, and Dad
We ended the night in Sandy with Tony's parents and went to watch the fireworks at Sandy City Hall.  The sprinklers got us but it was still fun watching them through the trees.  We got McDonalds sundaes after which was a highlight as well.  I decided I love going through the drive-thru with Pat.  He is great.

64 days!!!! happy birthday america-loved your party
